The Advanced MS Excel® Formulas Study Brief aims to offer experienced Excel® users advice and techniques for working more productively and efficiently with spreadsheets in this easy-to-follow reference guide. A brief refresher of MS Excel® formula basics outlines some key fundamentals, including alternate ways to enter formulas, explanations of common MS Excel® errors and how to resolve them, as well as useful tips for entering and debugging formullas. Plenty of examples of advanced formulas to reference in solving particular problems are provided. Working with the Visual Basic Editor (VBE) within MS Excel® to create macros is discussed as is the process for creating user defined functions (UDFs) to perform basic tasks. Other sections focus on functions such as adding comments, using SUMIFs, performing two-way lookups, using array formulas, creating charts, taking full advantage of PivotTables, importing data using Web Query function or Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), working with conditional formatting and using various methods for data validation.
